Job Status Workflow

Track jobs through their complete lifecycle with configurable status stages.

Default Statuses:

Quote - Draft being prepared
Quoted - Sent to client, awaiting response
Measuring Scheduled - Site visit booked
Approved - Client accepted, ready for production
In Production - Materials ordered, manufacturing underway
Ready for Installation - Items complete, scheduled
Installing - Team on-site
Installed - Complete, awaiting final payment
Completed - Closed and archived

Status Properties:

• Color coding for visual identification
• Locked states prevent accidental changes
• Progress-only states for forward movement
• Automation triggers on status change

Custom Statuses:
Settings → Job Statuses:

• Add custom stages
• Set sort order
• Configure colors
• Define automation rules

Supplier Ordering Activation:
Supplier ordering dropdown activates when status has:

• 'locked' property = true
• 'progress_only' property = true
• Status is 'Approved' or later in workflow
