Measurement & Calculation Tools

Precise measurement tools ensure accurate quotes and orders.

Measurement Units:
Set default in Settings → Business Settings:

• Metric (meters/cm)
• Imperial (feet/inches)
• Auto-conversion available

Window Measurement Guide:

Inside Mount (Recess):

• Measure width at 3 points (top, middle, bottom)
• Measure drop at 3 points (left, center, right)
• Use smallest measurements
• Check recess depth for treatment clearance

Outside Mount (Face Fix):

• Measure window opening
• Add overlap (10-20cm each side)
• Measure from architrave top
• Add drop below sill (10-15cm or to floor)

Automatic Fabric Calculations:

System calculates based on treatment template:

Finished Width:
Window width × fullness ratio
Example: 2m × 2.5 = 5m finished

Cut Drops:
Drop + header + bottom hem + allowances
Pattern repeat matching included

Total Meterage:
Based on fabric orientation (vertical/horizontal)
Includes seam allowances
Adds wastage percentage

Fabric Orientation:

• Vertical (standard): Fabric runs top-to-bottom
• Horizontal (railroaded): Fabric runs side-to-side
