Initial Setup Workflow

Complete these steps to configure your InterioApp account:

Step 1: Personal and Business Settings (5 minutes)

Settings → Account→ Personal

Profile Information

• Name
• Phone
• Email

Language & Localisation

• Date Format
• Time Zone

Settings → Business → Company

Company Information

• Company Name (Trading Name) and Legal Name
• Website
• Logo

Registration Numbers

• Business registration and tax numbers

Contact Information

• Email
• Phone

Business Address

Financial Settings

Payment Details

Invoice Settings

Settings → Business → Units & Currency

• Measurement Unit System (metric/imperial/mixed)
• Length Units
• Area Units
• Fabric Units
• Currency

Settings → Products → Pricing & Tax → Tax & Markup

• Tax settings (GST/VAT rates)

Step 2: Team & Permissions (10 minutes)

Settings → Business → Team 

• Review default roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Staff
• Invite team members via email
• Assign roles and customize permissions
• Configure KPI visibility per role

Step 3: Product Library Setup (15-30 minutes)

Settings → Products → Products & Templates → Suppliers

• Import products and fabrics from suppliers (if available via supplier API; i.e. TWC)

Settings → Products → Pricing & Tax

Tax & Markup

• Enter Default Global and Category Markups

Pricing Grids

• Upload Pricing Grids
• Enter Grid Markups

Library tab

• Add or Import hardware and accessories
• Set up collections and tags for organization
• Link vendors for supplier ordering

Step 4: Job Statuses (5 minutes)

Settings → System → Status Workflow

• Review default workflow stages
• Add custom statuses if needed
• Configure automation triggers
• Set color codes for visual identification

Step 5: Integrations (10 minutes)

Settings → Integrations

Suppliers

• TWC ordering
• CW Systems via CORA Trade Hub

ERP & Business

• RFMS
• NetSuite
• MYOB Exo

Email

• In-app email allowance (500 emails per month)
• Custom SendGrid Integration (Optional)

Calendar

• Connect Outlook and/or Google Calendar for appointment sync

PIM

Payments

• Stripe

Online Sales

• Connect Shopify for online store

Step 6: Create First Quote (10 minutes)

Projects → New Quote

• Select or create client
• Add project details and measurements
• Choose treatment templates
• System auto-calculates fabric and pricing
• Send to client via email or PDF
