RFMS Data Endpoint Installation

Prerequisite: .NetFramework 3.5 or greater needs to be installed for a successful installation.

1. Ensure that all other RFMS Services or instances are stopped.
2. Backup the RFMS Database before beginning the installation.
3. Download and save the RFMSDataendpoint.XML file in the RFMS root directory (for e.g. C \RFMS\RFMSDataendpoint.XML)
4. Double click the RFMSDataendpoint Service installer
5. Click Next

6. Enter the SQL Database Name for the RFMS Database. Click Next.
 

7. Enter the destination. Point this to the RFMS root Directory. (for e.g. C:\RFMS\ ).
   Click Next
 

8. Click Next until it reaches the Finish screen.

9. Once installation is completed, go into Services, and look up the service called: “RFMSDataendpoint-…”

10. Right-Click and go to properties
      a. On the General tab, set the Startup type to Automatic (Delayed)

      b. On the Logon tab, Click This account and enter an administrator account name with password to ensure that the service is running.

          Note: Please ensure that the administrator account also has fully access to the RFMS root directory and all files program files within it.

      c. On the Recovery tab, set the First, Second and Subsequent failures to Restart the service.

      d. Click Apply and OK. Then, Start the Service

11. Once it has the Running status, it should all be good to go.

12. It is good practice to run another backup of the RFMS Database after the installation, in case you need to re roll the database back to a certain point.
