Measure Desktop plug-in for Measure Boost API

Download and Install

To use the Measure Boost API with Measure Desktop:

1. Download the Measure Boost plug-in ZIP file attached to this document
2. Extract the contents in a folder on your computer
3. Start Measure Desktop
4. Choose "Measure Options", then "Plug-ins"
5. Click "Add" and choose MeasureBoostPlugIn.dll 
6. This will add "Measure Boost API" to the list of installed plug-ins. Click it and then click "Configure"
7. Enter your API ID (supplied by RFMS Australasia) and User ID
8. Click Verify to check your connection and API ID.

Using the Measure Boost API

The plug-in is called in three situations:

• Customer Search (from the Project Information dialog)
• Product Search (from the Products list)
• Estimate Export (from the Worksheet)

For example, on the Project Information dialog, choose "Measure Boost API" from the Import from drop-down:

• Settings file no longer loads URL; any lines after the second line are ignored.
