There is currently a known issue with sending Remittance Advices using the Outlook option via RFMS where Outlook will display this warning prompt. This is due to Microsoft changes with its Office 365 suite/products in which RFMS has no control over.

The RFMS U.S. developers recommends that users switch the EMail Setup to SMTP, Office365 or GMail(if they use GMail) for sending bulk/mass emailing (such as remittance advises).
To do this:
Go to Order Entry > Utilities > Setup > Email Setup
Then, switch Send Mass Email to SMTP, Gmail (if you use GMail) or Office365
If you are planning to send emails via SMTP, you will also need to fill in the following information in the boxes marked in red.
SMTP Server Information:
- Outbound server name: Your local IT or your email service provider can provide you with this information. If you are an Office 365 email user you can use, smtp.office365.com
- SMTP Port: Your local IT or your email service provider can provide you with this information. If you are an Office 365 email user you can use, 587
- Login user name: Your email address
-
Login Password: An app password created for your email.
To create an app password for your email address please follow the Microsoft support site below for instructions:
How to get and use app passwords - Microsoft Support
SMTP Authentication
- Tick both boxes for Outbound Server Authentication Required and Use Secure Authentication (TLS)
- Username for Authentication: Your email address
- Password for Authentication: Same app password as the above
To test to see if SMTP is working, briefly switch Send Single Email to SMTP, then click the Send Test Email. After you have successfully sent a test email, switch your Send single email back to its original setting, then press Save and continue.
Something to note with Sending Mass Email with SMTP, is that you won't have the ability to edit the emails, as they will send automatically. But you can always track if these emails are sent by checking your Sent box, or BCC the emails to yourself.
