Loads add a specific dollar amount to a product's cost in a customer order
Summary of Load Types:
- Load - Static dollar amount.
- Load as a Percent of Cost - This is takes a percentage of the cost and turns it into a static dollar amount.
- Load Percent - This is a dynamic load percentage. When the cost price increases, the load will increase too.
Example:
To Edit the Product Load: Products > File > General Range Edit
Select Load
Enter the new load
Regarding ONLY FOR, OLD LOAD, NEW LOAD:
If you would like ALL carpet to have the same load, you can leave 'Only For' unchecked and enter the new load. RFMS will change all carpets, regardless of their current load.
Alternatively, you can select 'Only For' and edit the products on a load by load basis if different carpets fall into different shop margin brackets.
Click Product Code > Highlight Carpet > Use the Finger.
Click OK
If you have selected 'Only For' RFMS will prompt a check to confirm this is correct > Click YES to proceed or NO to go back and edit the change.
If you have NOT selected 'Only For' RFMS will prompt a check to confirm this is correct > Click YES to process or NO to go back and edit the change.
Preview the Changes - Select YES to view changes, or NO to proceed.
If you select YES, RFMS will show all products that will be impacted by the range edit. Click the Blue Arrow to proceed.
Are you positive you want to process - Select YES to confirm, or NO to go back to edit the change.
If you select NO > Click OK.
To Edit the Price Formulas:
Open Products > File > Price Range Edit
If you have existing formulas saved, click LOAD > Highlight the carpet formula > Use the finger to select
Click 'Go to Formula Setup' to edit the formulas
Your formulas should start with (C+L) before being multiplied by the margin. If your database is GST exclusive, they might look something like this:
If your database is GST inclusive, your formulas will look something like this:
Once your formulas are set > Click OK
A formula is Blank - select YES
Automatically populate formulas - NO
Preview the Changes - Select YES to view changes, or NO to proceed
If you select YES, RFMS will show all products that will be impacted by the range edit. Click the Blue Arrow to proceed.
Satisfied with the results - Select YES to proceed or NO to go back
Click OK
Select YES to save the formulas
Highlight the name of the formula set you edited and use the finger to confirm
Repeat until all saved formula sets have been edited.
